It hasn't snowed in Buenos Aires since 1918. Until today.
Today is a National Holiday in Buenos Aires, and everyone, except for my class, had the day off. Bri had the day off, the people who work at the bakery where I normally grab breakfast had the day off, even the doorman in my school's building had the day off.
I went to school.
Since the rest of the building was not in today, the heat was off. We borrowed a small space heater, and that kept two students at a time warm. We ended up moving class to a small room, to help keep warm. During our afternoon break, we went into a windowed room, and noticed snow. Beautiful fluffy flakes were blowing between us and a black building across the street.
I know we'll get no sympathy from the people back home, but it's freezing here.
